TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
May 01, 2026
What started as a relatively controlled race quickly turned into late-race chaos under the light at TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY.
Ben Rhodes opened the night strong after starting on pole position and taking the Stage 1 win, while Carson Hocevar steadily worked his way through the field after rolling off 11th.
By stage 2, the momentum had shifted. Hocevar showed race-winning speed and captured the stage victory as the intensity around the track continued to build.
Then came the final laps.
With two red flags inside the last 10 laps, the field was reset multiple times, creating a tense battle up front between Kyle Busch and Carson Hocevar. The two went head-to-head through late restarts, trading momentum as the crowd came alive under the Texas lights.
But in the closing laps, Hocevar found another level.
With just two laps remaining, he finally pulled away from Kyle Busch and never looked back, surviving the chaos and sealing the win in dramatic fashion.
Another unforgettable night of short-tempers, late-race pressure and hard racing deep in the heart of Texas.
